UK Calling: Queenie Singh Opens Jewellery Store in London

Queenie, who has been in the news mostly for matters of the heart, has decided to wrap her pretty head around the more serious business of selling jewellery.

In London over the weekend, she opened a small window for a tony store at an upscale hotel, and held a champagne tea party for her London friends. And that meant the better half of Bombay. So besides Rhea Pillai and Leander (there for Wimbledon), there were her gal pals Anu Diwan and Maheep Kapoor, besides her old friend Vijay Mallya and Naresh Goyal.

Since it was Rhea's birthday, there was also a spot of cake-cutting, between all the air-kissing and toasting. Meanwhile, to all those reports of her getting back with Farhad Taraporewala, the word from the horse's mouth is: "Not yet".
