Tarun Tahiliani Opens His Bridal Jewel Box in Delhi

We told you Tarun Tahiliani's Jewel Box bridal expo was opening soon. If you're a curious bride, or simply curious, here's what Tahiliani's opulent bridal couture exhibition looks like:

About 60 of Tahiliani's creations are enclosed in a giant glass box, created especially by AIS Glasxperts.

Brides can look for red and gold key-hole jackets and lehengas and citrusy mango and peach anarkalis; and grooms might want to check out the antique gold brocade sherwanis that are paired with long flared crinkled cotton kurtas.

Tahiliani has also used a mesh fabric made of crushed crystals, just developed by Swarovski, in several of his pieces, and his concept saris feature shoulders draped with tulle florets and even cocktail party-friendly animal prints accentuated with lace.

The Tarun Tahiliani Couture Expo is on from July 25 - 28, 2012 at DLF Emporio, in New Delhi and from August 6 - 7, 2012 at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai.
