Prada's First Short Film Premieres at Cannes
Prada premiered its first short film A Therapy, starring Helena Bonham Carter and Sir Ben Kingsley at the Cannes Film Festival. It was nice to see a fashion brand make a movie of this kind. The film, directed by Roman Polanski (of The Pianist and Rosemary's Baby fame), fittingly starts off with an artistic blank silence, and then showcases Prada's apparent high desirability, with tongue firmly in cheek.
In the film Helena Bonham Carter rants about her life, to her therapist, Sir Ben. And while she continues talking, we see how a fluffy purple Prada coat takes up all his attention.
