With software like Siri for the iPhone 4S, the idea of voice command devices has expanded to include TVs, cars, and even more recently, watches. Surprised much? California based Martian Watches has recently announced the world's first hands-free voice communication watch that allows its users to place and answer calls, as well as send and receive text messages with just the push of a button.
With the blink of an LED light, vibration, and OLED text display users can know whether they're getting a call or a text. Imagine being on the edge of a rock while mountain climbing and a friend happens to call you, without putting yourself or your phone in impending danger, you can just chat with your friend straight from your watch!
The watch works via Bluetooth, so as long as your phone is nearby-whether in a purse or a pocket-the watch will work its magic. An added bonus for this device is that iPhone 4S and Android users can connect their phones to the watch and use the phone's voice command functions to set calendar events, reminders, and even search for information. Android phones also have the capability to receive incoming notifications from Facebook, Twitter, Weather, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, and Sina Weibo, while Iphone 4S's will be able to use Siri's voice command functions for controlling music.
