Zach Galifianakis should pay more attention to the handbags he carries. Luxury handbag company Louis Vuitton is suing Warner Bros, alleging that a handbag featured as one of its own in The Hangover Part II is a fake, according to The Hollywood Reporter (via WSJ).
In a scene, the character played by Galifianakis carries a bag marked LVM, then scolds another character, saying "Careful, that is... that is a Louis Vuitton." Louis Vuitton's suit alleges the bag Galifianakis carries is made by the Chinese-American company Diophy, which Louis Vuitton is also currently suing to try and prevent knock-off items of its brand from being sold in the United States, the Hollywood Reporter writes.
Louis Vuitton claims it's been "damaged by the consumer confusion," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
