Kiran Rao Wants To Own a Sari in Every Weave

Kiran Rao's eclectic style has been well accepted. A big patron of traditional weaves, Rao, who swears by Sabyasachi, Savio Jon and Tarun Tahiliani, has now extended her patronage to hand-woven eco-friendly fabrics and accessories.
We have now learnt that the filmmaker, who is working on her big film conservation project, is also mentoring Jamini and Maithili Ahluwalia, for their handmade line which aims at creating stylishly unique, eco-friendly pieces.
Incidentally, Rao has confessed that she prefers traditional saris to the embroidered, trendy ones and dreams of owning every kind of weave there is. Are we looking at a walk-in closet here?
