Jaeger-LeCoultre's Batman Tribute Watch

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 is a limited edition watch from the famed Swiss watchmaker, paying homage to one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Actor Christian Bale who plays the Batman, is actually seen wearing one of their watches, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Date, in both the preceding movies.

While the front of this watch's flippable steel case features a black dial, the rear has an engraved and lacquered Batman logo. This is the same logo as is used in the latest release of The Dark Knight Rises. Though not too many details have been revealed about the number of pieces and the pricing, this watch will be on display at the brand’s Geneva, Los Angeles, London and Hong Kong boutiques.

The limited-edition Reverso Grande Taille model which Christian Bale was seen wearing in the previous two movies, was also featured in the 1995 Batman Forever. At that time, it was surprising that the watch was released alongside the movie as such an association between films and watch industry products was surely rare, if not unheard of.
