High-End Fashion for Chennai's Men at the Luxxe Box

 

Last week Genesis Luxury Fashion, a luxury conglomerate that has brought many big brands including Tumi, Jimmy Choo and Canali, to Indian shores, opened its first multi-designer concept store. Extending over 2000 sqm, the boutique presents a diverse range of brands featuring high-class men's wear.

If you plan on heading there, the brands on the racks are British label Paul Smith, classic Made-in-Italy luxury brand Canali, eclectic Italian label Etro and the international brand of luxury travel, business, and lifestyle accessories Tumi. Only for men, the store stacks up the latest collection of formal & casual wear, luggage, small leather goods, sunglasses and other accessories.

Things seem to be going well for Genesis' Sanjay Kapoor, who has just struck a deal with LVMH's private equity arm L Capital Asia, to showcase ethnic haute couture.
 
And in a sign that luxury is growing robustly, the Goenkas put out their plans for a 400,000 sqft mall in Kolkata which will house about 20-25 brands. Read more about it here.
