Have you noticed the speed luxury brands are expanding in India? On Wednesday, British luxury accessories brand Jimmy Choo opened its fourth Indian store in Gurgaon NCR, at the Oberoi Hotel. The store will offer a complete assortment of Jimmy Choo women's shoes, handbags, small leather goods, soft accessories and sunglasses. Here's the enticing bit, there will be a special section dedicated to the Choo 24:7 collection, the 'Perfect Shoe and Bag Wardrobe'.

It almost like walking into a 1940s boutique, with its neutral beige interior colour scheme a harmony of ivory, pale rose, lilac and sand. The store gets pretty feminine with those lush tufted seating, mirrored tables, and crystal drop chandeliers.
Describing the store's aesthetics, Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon said in a statement, "I want it to feel as though you are walking into a lady's dressing room, a woman's boudoir with all its feminine, luxurious and intimate surroundings."
Meanwhile, company CEO Joshua Schulman, who was at the store launch, said Jimmy Choo had an important clientele in India, and the brand looked forward to bringing the complete Jimmy Choo experience to them. Here's what he had to say about the luxury market in India.
