Gucci Launches In-store Interactive LCDs

These graphic images are being created by OOOii, a premiere design company that designs graphics for Hollywood movies. This concept will be launched in Gucci’s flagship stores all around the world in two years. These nearly seamless display will comprise screens of 45’’and 50’’ tiled throughout the store.
The customer visiting a store can pause, rewind and even search for content they like. They can even send the image to their mobile to share it with their friends for feedback. The concept has been inspired from the movie Minority Report which involved a lot of interaction with visual graphics. There are three zones in the store where these displays will be installed - the Immersive Window Display, the Immersive Entrance Display and the Immersive Women's and Men's Fashion Show Displays.
The Immersive Retail Experience will go live on 21st September on the first day of the Milan fashion week when Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini presents her Spring Summer 2012 Women's Collection.
