From Couture to Culture: Sabyasachi to Design New Amphitheatre
The Kolkata designer, who still retains much of his boyish charm behind the well-trimmed beard, has found yet another way medium for creative expression. After designing jewellery, home linen and styling for films, Sabyasachi has now taken up the challenge of designing an amphitheatre for a live music show hosted by Shubha Mudgal and Anish Pradhan.
The ampitheatre, a sketch of which you can see here, is meant to accommodate 50 drummers, including the famed Manipuri drummers. The real test of the stage will be once those twirling percussionists get on to it.
