After Chanel's opulent Paris to Mumbai fashion show last month, it is now the makers of the most desirable heels who have paid an ode to the city and the film industry. We can reveal, Christian Louboutin's Mumbai and Bollywood range has launched to a flurry of excitement.

The vertiginous heels in pop colours, spikes and sequins, have left the chic set deeply divided. In fact, as we can tell you, the range of responses is rather interesting: from Mandira Bedi's 'I would not be caught dead in them' to Simone Singh's more measured, 'Not on my wishlist' to Maheka Mirpuri's effusive 'Would wear them even if they kill my feet.'
