Cartier, Hermes & Other Limited Edition Watches at Saffronart's Private Sale

Saffronart is best known for its online sales of Indian art - and even homes. This time, the online auction house is hosting an offline watch sale for serious watch collectors.

The auction house has put together a rather impressive collection of limited edition watches for men and women that include unique timepieces from Cartier Audemars Piguet, Chopard, Corum, Hermès, Franck Muller and Bulgari.

One of our favourites is the Santos 100 diamond wristwatch by Cartier. The watch was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Brazilian aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumas, who was a close friend of Louis Cartier.  This men's watch comes with a diamond-encrusted bezel and black leather strap with a stainless steel clasp (price: Rs 4.5 lakh).

There is also the Hermes Kelly Clochette women's watch - a thin leather bracelet that wraps around the hand with the padlock-shaped watch suspend off it (price: Rs 1.35 lakh).

The Saffronart private watch sale is on till September 22, 2012 at The Oberoi Hotel, Dr.Zakir Hussain Marg, New Delhi 110 003; watches a priced between Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 7,50,000.
