[Video]: Blink & Miss Venom GT's World’s Fastest Edition
In February, Venom GT claimed stake to the Guinness World Record of the fastest car to go from 0-300 km/h in 13.63 seconds. Maxing out at 270.4 mph, this milestone was recently celebrated with a roll-out of limited-to-3 cars of the Venom GT World’s Fastest Edition.
The drives boast of a unique colour palette that takes cue from the American flag—white with red and blue stripes—but of course the real highlights are the tech specs of the car, what with immense power propelling this lightweight drive.
Think 7 litre twin turbo V8 engine churning out 1,244 bhp, on a car that weighs jus 1,2444 kgs equating to a mean feat of 1bhp/kg.
Supported by an aerodynamic, lightweight aluminium build and carbon fibre body which transcends into carbon-ceramic brakes, the Hennessey Venom GT was touted as the fastest and quickest supercar, making an appearance much before the recently launched Koenigsegg One: 1.
A race to the finish line with its $1.2 million price tag for the World’s Fastest Edition, the three Venom GT’s have already been spoken for, but here’s a visual treat in case you missed it
