Chevrolet Unveils the 2015 Corvette Z06

Just when we were coming to terms with the launch of the Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition Convertible, General Motors gave us yet another ride to rave about, and so we will.
Under that gorgeous shapely hood, there are miraculous things that can easily challenge the Lamborghinis and Ferraris of the world.
The first Z06 model to offer a supercharger that is lightweight yet very strong, the extra power is indeed noticeable. It comes with an all-new 6.2-litre LT4 V8 engine that makes over 625 horsepower and 635 pound-feet of torque. This is backed up by a seven-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic for those who like the full track day effect - developed in-house by Cherolet.
The downforce-induced body makes the car grip the road like never before, making your drive as smooth as possible. All that powerful performance is balanced by aluminum cylinder heads and titanium intake valves.
What’s more? Buyers don’t have to let go of the open-top to enjoy a stiff body structure. The Z06, just like the Stingray, will have a removable hardtop roof (oh, goodie!), and all you have to do is pop it out for some open-air cruising.
The rigid body of the car is paired with bigger brakes with Chevrolet’s Magnetic Selective Ride Control dampers.
With all those fabulous features, one can only wait till the car is ready to hit the markets, and eventually your back alley.
