Chanel’s New Make Up Collection is Inspired By Diwali

After designing a clothes collection inspired by India, Chanel’s obsession with the country continues. Their latest make up collection is inspired by Diwali. The new make up line developed by Chanel's creative director of make and up, Peter Philips explores light and dark.
The make up line, which premiered at the Métiers d’Art fashion show last winter, has colours that combine gold tones with inky black, reminiscent of the kohl pencil. It has drawn inspiration from iconic Indian eye make up. The black eye shadow is called Nirvana.
There’s a shimmering powder called Route des Indes de Chanel, a silver-gold nail paint and a peachy lip colour.
