Blake Lively is Gucci’s New Star

Blake Lively has been announced as the new face of Gucci’s latest fragrance, Premiere.  

The stunning 24-year-old actress will appear in the house’s print ads, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and will even star in a short film.

Having been Chanel’s muse in the past for a hand bag line, Blake will now join the star-studded brigade like Evan Rachel Wood, Chris Evans and James Franco in representing Gucci's fragrances. Check out Chris Evans' yummy ad here.

Frida Ginannini,Gucci's creative director believes that the fragrance epitomises timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of the golden era; Blake’s unique style and charisma brings the allure that to life in a very contemporary way.

This is the Gossip Girl star’s first full-fledged campaign.

The commercial film of the campaign will be short by award winning director Nicola Winding Refn and needless to say, Lively will bring her effortlessly sexy look to the campaign beautifully

Gucci Première will be launched worldwide from July 2012.
