Get Yourself a Designer Jean Paul Gaultier Gold Bar

Fashion's biggest names have collaborated on designs for nearly everything, from cars and pastries to bottles of aerated drinks. Now it’s the turn of precious metal. French designer Jean Paul Gaultier has designed a stylish gold bar, all of 24 karats. The bar, weighing an ounce (28.34 gms), is a result of Gaultier’s collaboration with Dillon Gage Metals.

The bullion is meant to catch investors' attention and encourage them to invest in gold and hedge against inflation in style. The bar has rounded edges and has a striped heart engraved with the Jean Paul Gaultier banner running across it.

Only limited pieces of this unique design will be minted, which makes it a collectors piece, priced at $1,826 (approx Rs 93,911).
